About Amber

Hello, I’m Amber Teson, and I’m running for Missouri House District 64 to better our community, strengthen our economy, and bring common sense back to Jefferson City. As a ten-year 4-H member, granddaughter of a farmer, teacher, carpenter, and union member, I have family and friends on both sides of the political aisle. I’ve been listening and learning from others my whole life.

I attended St. Charles Community College using the A+ Scholarship Program, then finished my political science degree at UMSL while working to pay for my classes and living in St. Louis. I earned my master’s degree in business from the University of Lancashire (Cyprus) and have been working in service- and business-focused roles ever since.

Our community is filled with caring and hardworking people who want a better and brighter future for their families. I am ready to take their concerns and needs to Jefferson City so that the next generation has opportunities to grow and thrive in our growing community. District 64 has been a tightly knit community of family, friends, farms, schools and small businesses.

As it continues to expand, I want to make sure there is representation in Jefferson City of all the people in our district—not just political power swayed by party. There are common interests and needs of all my constituents, and I will do my best to represent all of them.
